The government is preparing to send students back to school: PM

 


 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "The government is preparing for the children to be able to return to their educational institutions and resume their educational activities normally." We hope that better days will come in the future.

Our children can go to school. They will start their studies normally. We are preparing for that goal. '

 The Prime Minister made the remarks while addressing a graduation ceremony of National Defense Course and Armed Forces War Course at National Defense College, Sheikh Hasina Complex, DSCSC, Mirpur Cantonment from Ganobhaban on Sunday (December 13).

He added that the government could not open a school for Kovid-19. Arrangements have been made to take classes online and through television.

The Prime Minister said above all if the children cannot go to their school, it creates stress on them. In this context, he mentioned that the second wave of Corona started when the government was preparing to open an educational institution. He once again urged everyone to follow health guidelines to protect against coronavirus.

National Defense College Commandant Lt. General Ataul Hakim Sarwar Hasan spoke.

The ongoing holidays of all educational institutions in the country have been extended till December 19 due to the global epidemic. After the first coronavirus was detected in the country on March 6, all types of educational institutions and coaching centers, including schools and colleges, were declared closed on March 18. However, online classes are going on. Apart from that, the government canceled this year's HSC and equivalent, preliminary final and equivalent and JSC and equivalent examinations. At present, the office-court activities have been gradually introduced but the educational institutions have not been opened yet.
